These sessions follow the philosophy outlined in Beyond The Maafa: Book One, refined through Quilombolas de Luz methods to improve physicality, dexterity, control, and applied understanding of capoeira. Each class is intentionally structured so practitioners at any level can participate, adapt, and progress without compromising the integrity of the art.

Read the appendix of Beyond The Maafa: Book One.
Submit the $25 or $15 drop-in fee prior to class, or hold the Patreon Basic Tier or higher for general access.
All classes are QLC technique focused. If political or organizational concerns require privacy, notify the instructor in advance so no images are captured.
For a deeper learning experience, coordinate with a partner to complete paired drills.
Maintain respect for all participants at all times.
Cameras remain on for the duration of class.
Mircophones are muted upon entry.
ENFORCEMENT · Failure to meet any prerequisite results in removal from the session without refund. These standards protect the quality, safety, and focus of the work.
